Trackside Learning Studio is a small school dedicated to nurturing a lifelong love for learning, faith in God, and compassion for others. Our mission is to create a Christ-like community aimed at positively transforming the world. We believe in a holistic approach to education, emphasizing both academics and essential life skills. Our curriculum combines core subjects like numeracy, literacy, and science with essential 21st-century skills of problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, computer literacy, and communication to prepare students for today’s workplaces. We are committed to developing Godly character and a biblical worldview in our students.

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Primary Teacher located in Foxdale, Lusaka. The Primary Teacher will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, delivering quality instruction, and assessing student progress. Day-to-day tasks include teaching various subjects to early primary grade students, and facilitating some afternoon activities. The teacher will also be responsible for maintaining open communication with parents and staff, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the educational experience.

Qualifications

Experience teaching primary students, with expertise in phonics
Excellent communication skills
Strong organisational and classroom management skills
Self-motivated, independent, adaptable and eager to acquire new skills
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents
Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field
Commitment to the values and mission of Trackside Learning Studio
