Job description
Silverlands Ranching Limited is an agricultural business which operates Southern Province. The company wishes to invite applications from suitably qualified Zambians to fill in the position of Company Driver for the Ranch in Zimba, Southern Province. The applicant must have the following qualifications.
Grade twelve certificates.
Should have a Valid PSV Driver’s licence
At least five (5) years’ experiences as a Driver/Mechanic from a reputable company
Must have three (3) traceable referees
Proficiency in English and Tonga will be an added advantage.
Experience in Mechanics is an added advantage
Responsibilities
Ensure all vehicles registration, insurance and safety certificates are up to date and renewed according to requirements set out by RTSA
Deliver and collect materials from and to instructed destinations, always ensuring safety.
Always ensure that the vehicle is road worthy.
Ensure that the assigned vehicle is serviced within the schedule by keeping track of the mileage
Ensure every journey and fuelling/ refuelling are recorded in the motor vehicle logbook.
Keep a high level of confidentiality and follow the company transport procedures.
Perform any other relevant tasks assigned by management
