Job description

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless claims experience? Hollard Insurance Zambia is looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Motor Assessor.

Job Purpose

The Motor Assessor will be responsible for delivering courteous and efficient motor vehicle assessment services, ensuring a high standard of customer satisfaction. This role involves conducting accurate and cost-effective negotiations for vehicle repairs, aiming to provide a consistent and effective service to both internal and external customers. The Assessor will play a crucial role in ensuring that the claims experience for our customers is seamless, managing the entire process from assessment through to the completion of repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive vehicle inspections.
Negotiate cost agreements with repairers that are competitive and fair based on accident damages.
Source independent quotations from parts dealers.
Maintain effective communication with customers throughout the repair process.
Monitor repair works to ensure they meet the highest standards and are completed within reasonable timelines.
Manage relationships with repairers and provide support as needed.
Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:

Certificate in Motor Technology.
Diploma in Insurance is an added advantage.
Grade Twelve with Five O Levels, including English and Maths.
5-10 years of experience in claims management and administration.
