Job Title: Fibre Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Fibre Project Manager oversees fibre optic network deployment projects, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Interpret and enforce Departmental Policy.
Provide input in Departmental Strategy Formulation.
Enforce installation Processes and Procedures.
Prepare Projects Schedules, Quantification and Costings.
Analyze project dependences and optimize timeline in accordance with the critical path.
Coordinating implementation of company network maintenance.
Ensure periodic testing of all existing primary fiber ways
End – to – End project supervision ensuring QoS control at all levels of the project.
Installation Material Control and Monitoring.
Material and equipment performance evaluation.
Ensure all fiber cables are test prior to installation.
Ensure projects are delivered as per schedule.
ROW acquisition
Appraise Subordinates.
Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly Reportin
Project planning: Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets.
Network design: Collaborate with engineers to design fibre optic networks.
Construction management: Oversee fibre network construction and installation.
Stakeholder management: Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Quality assurance: Ensure projects meet quality and technical standards.

Requirements:

1. Experience: Proven experience in project management, preferably in fibre optic network deployment.

2. Technical knowledge: Understanding of fibre optic technologies and infrastructure.

3. degree in Computer Science or any other related field
