Position: Furniture Department Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Furniture Department Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our furniture production and sales unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality production standards, meeting customer demands, and managing a skilled team of carpenters and designers.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily operations of furniture production and ensure quality control
Coordinate tasks among workshop staff and enforce safety standards
Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery deadlines are met.
Provide leadership and technical guidance to furniture staff.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement of materials.
Enforce safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
Inspect finished products for quality control.
Collaborate with the sales and design teams for customized furniture projects.
Prepare and present departmental reports to management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Full grade (12) certificate
Diploma/Degree in Production and Operations management, or related field.
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a furniture manufacturing or related industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of furniture design, production processes, and materials.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to interpret technical drawings and ensure quality workmanship.
Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to drive and possessing a valid driving license
