Job Description

 

To coordinate and execute end to end employee lifecycle and proactively partner with relevant business partners and stakeholders to provide best practice human capital services

Evaluates and advises on the selection and appointment of staff to ensure equity, fairness and parity and further facilitates the recruitment and selection process
Assists new employees with completing engagement and onboarding processes
Organises and arranges for relocation of eligible employees in accordance with Bank procedures
Checks and processes recommendations for acting appointment, promotions, re-designation and salary increments to ensure they are in accordance with Human Capital policies and procedures and submits to payroll
Maintains accurate and up to date leave records for all employees of the Bank
Ensures that various types of leave including normal leave, study leave, maternity leave etc., are captured onto the system and that employees have complied with procedures, standards and policies
Maintains accurate filing and records
Demonstrate cost consciousness and awareness of personal contribution to costs and productivity
Identify and escalates potential risks that may lead to increased costs
Prevent wastage and identify process improvements to contain and reduce costs
Establish relationships with relevant individuals and departments to deliver on work expectations
Adhere to relevant service level agreements to build trust in the relationship
Provide timeous reports on operations, performance
and audit findings
Report on transactional activity progression within set guidelines to provide timely information for decision making in area of accountability
Assist business or line and HRSS on processes that require approval and/or are people related instructions to HRSS
Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed with regard to day-to-day operations of the HR Segment
Assist HRBP with the implementation of practice, initiatives and project implementation
Must have ZAQA certification
Must be an active member of ZIHRM
