DAIRY FARM SUPERVISOR

Do you have the skill and commitment to manage a dairy unit where animal health, staff coordination, and milk production all rest on your leadership?

We are looking for a qualified and practical Dairy Farm Supervisor who understands that consistency, animal welfare, and good planning are key to sustainable dairy success.

YOU WILL THRIVE IF YOU CAN:

Oversee milking, calving, feeding, reproduction and herd health programs
Train and supervise farm staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Record milk yields, reproductive performance, and veterinary interventions
Maintain hygiene, safety, and equipment handling procedures
Use basic farm machinery and handle biosecurity requirement
Manage developing and maintaining breeding and milk production records
Oversee facilities and equipment management to ensure compliance with bio safety and sanitation standards and requirements.
Oversee the growing, harvesting, of crops.
Manage procurement, herd ID monitoring, project planning, and report writing

WHAT WE VALUE:

Diploma in Animal Science or a similar field
At least 5 years of relevant experience in dairy herd and livestock management required
Para-veterinary experience and basic mechanical/farm equipment skills
Sound judgment, calm leadership, and clear communication
Ideal candidate age: 30 – 45
Valid driver’s license is an added advantage
