Job Title: Regional Lubricants Manager – Southern

Mount Meru Petroleum Zambia seeks an experienced Regional Lubricants Manager to oversee our lubricants business in Southern Zambia, based in Lusaka

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute business plans to drive growth and profitability in the lubricants business in Southern Zambia, across diverse sectors such as mining, energy, construction, automobile, industrial, agriculture, and retail.
Develop, manage, and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and delivering tailored solutions.
Lead a team of sales and operations professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and development opportunities to ensure achievement of sales targets.
Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and identify new business opportunities.
Manage inventory levels, logistics, and distribution networks to ensure efficient and timely delivery of products.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, operations, and finance, to drive business outcomes.
Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports to ensure business performance is tracked and optimized.Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Finance, or a similar field, with a postgraduate qualification in Business Administration preferred.
MBA is an added advantage.
Proven experience in downstream sales of petroleum products, with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in diverse sectors such as mining, energy, construction, automobile, industrial, agriculture, and retail.
Demonstrated experience in sales leadership, team management, and business development.
Strong understanding of the lubricants industry, market trends, and competitor activity.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing market conditions.
